Important Abstract Deadlines
About the ICAR2026 Program ICAR2026 will be an in-person meeting. No virtual participation options will be available. The meeting in Prague, Czech Republic will include oral and poster sessions, plenary talks, ISAR awardee lectures and several special sessions and networking events. All accepted posters will have the option (although highly encouraged) to upload a virtual poster to the online platform which will be available to registered attendees. All poster award competition participants will be required to upload an electronic poster prior to the conference. |
Abstract Details
Submission Tracks
All presenters (oral and/or posters) must plan to present onsite in Prague.
Abstract title is limited to 250 characters. Abstract body is limited to 250 words. The system will automatically impose these restrictions when you enter your abstract.
During the submission process you will be able to indicate your interest in participating in the Poster Awards Competition, PechaKucha Competition and Travel Awards.
A regular feature of ICAR is the judging of posters by a designated committee and the award of cash prizes. For your poster to be entered in the competition, you must indicate your interest during the abstract submission process, following the instructions below:
- Login to the submission site to start your abstract submission.
- When asked if you would like to be considered for a Poster Award, select "Yes”.
- Answer the subsequent questions.
- Further details will be provided after abstract acceptance notifications have been sent. Please note that you will be required to submit an electronic poster prior to the Conference.
- If an author is selected for an oral presentation, and would like to also compete for a Poster Award, the author should notify ICAR Staff and prepare a poster to present at the meeting.
Please note that poster award participants may also be selected to present a "shotgun" talk which takes place on the final day of the conference. An invitation to present a "shotgun" talk is typically sent shortly after the final poster session.
Late-breaking Abstracts (opens March 2, 2026)
A limited number of oral and poster presentations will be reserved for abstracts containing the most recent data with cutting edge implications and impact. Please consider the below items if submitting a late-breaking abstract.
