Is ICAR cancelled?
The conference has not been cancelled but will be presented virtually. The virtual meeting will take place this fall from September through December 2020.
What will the ICAR2020 Virtual Meeting look like?
ICAR2020 will be comprised of weekly webinars that feature invited speakers from the originally planned Seattle conference – internationally recognized experts who will address recent developments in all areas of antiviral drug discovery and development. The webinars will take place this fall from September through December 2020 and will be free-of-charge to all ISAR members. So, to ensure you receive information about the fall webinars, make sure your membership is up to date and encourage your colleagues who are interested in participating in the webinars to join ISAR. I registered for the ICAR2020 Seattle meeting. What do I do?
If you are a current ICAR2020 registrant, you will be receiving a full registration refund by May 15, 2020. Your registration will then be cancelled.
Will my registration fee be refunded?
Given the change in meeting format, all current paid registrants will receive a full refund by May 15, 2020 in the payment format used to register.
I am the presenting author. What do I do now?
Unfortunately, this year’s new virtual meeting will not be able to include the poster and oral presentations from accepted authors from the ICAR2020 abstract submissions. We understand this is disappointing, but we encourage accepted authors to cite that they were accepted for ICAR2020 and to submit an abstract for the next ICAR when the submission site opens.
Who do I contact with questions?
If you need to reach ICAR, please contact ICAR Staff at email@example.com. Additional details on the timing and streaming of the webinars will be released as soon as they are available.
