Research Group Leader: Istituto Pasteur of Rome, New Laboratory

The Istituto Pasteur - Fondazione Cenci Bolognetti invites applications for the position of Research Group Leader for a newly established laboratory. The successful candidate is expected to establish a basic research line in the field of host-pathogen interactions and their role in human health. The full-time position is for five years, with the possibility of extension. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

The Istituto Pasteur of Rome - the Italian member of the Pasteur International Network - is a growing institution promoting studies of the mechanisms that regulate the fundamental processes of life and disease and offering a fertile environment for research cooperation between different disciplines. The Istituto has thirty years of experience in funding research projects at Sapienza University of Rome and is now expanding to create a new independent laboratory, located within the university facilities, with access to research infrastructures and technical equipment of Sapienza University of Rome.

Required qualifications: Candidates are expected to have relevant postdoctoral training, an outstanding record of internationally competitive research accomplishments in their field and capability to attract external funding. Applicants with a position at the Sapienza University of Rome will not be considered.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will initiate an independent and creative research program, selecting and supervising PhD students and post-doctoral fellows. Applicants must be highly interactive, able to attract funding through competitive research grants and willing to collaborate with experts in the field of "pasteurian” sciences with the general aim of disseminating the mission of the institute throughout society.

HIV Medical Services Program Manager – 587927

The Indiana State Department of Health is seeking a HIV Medical Services Program Manager that plans, develops, and administers the statewide HIV Care and Services program, to include oversight of the Indiana Health Insurance Assistance Plan andthe AIDS Drug Assistance Program.The successful candidate will also develop a comprehensive plan for the delivery of services under the conditions of the grant award as well as plan, supervise, coordinate and review the work of the HIV Medical Services staff. Additionally, this position is responsible for the fiscal oversight of all aspects of the HIV Medical Services Program and ensures program compliance with federal monitoring and evaluation standards.

Preferred Experience:

Eight (8) years of experience in program coordination, development, implementation, or related experience; plus at least one (1) additional year of administrative, managerial or supervisory experience. A combination of experience and accredited college training may be considered.

·Advanced knowledgeof budget planning and forecasting, as well as program planning with the ability to apply this to public health programs;

·Working knowledge of the administration and organization of health insurance and health delivery systems;

·Working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act.
